Gold Finish: IP/PVD Ion Plating Technology
Our gold finish is not painted on — it is bonded at the molecular level using IP/PVD (Ion Plating / Physical Vapor Deposition) technology. This is a high-end industrial process where real gold is deposited onto each piece inside a vacuum chamber at extremely high temperatures.
A titanium intermediate layer is applied first, because gold cannot adhere directly to steel. Titanium bonds to the steel, and gold bonds to the titanium — creating a finish that is significantly more durable than conventional gold plating.
